These materials will allow my students to experience arts and how art influences the world around us. Our spring art project will use the canvases, paint, and brushes to paint our long term project. We plan to plan and draw out, then paint, then finalize it like real artists. I plan to use the feathers and sequins during our art/science for our zoology section. We will do a study on animals and how they use camouflage and other features of animals' appearances. My students are not exposed to art at home and not given chances to explore through art and in the world. School is the only way they are gaining these experiences and I want to provide them with every chance for them to succeed in areas they explore.
