My Project

I want my students to experience, understand, and love reading a book. I carefully chose books that align with the state standards the students need to know for third grade. This gives us a hands-on lesson to help to relate to what they are to know. When I'm teaching main idea we can read "It's All About Me-Ow" and discuss and find the main idea with three supporting details.

Fractions, multiplication, place value, and division are an area that is brand new to the third grade.

The math centers will help give a visual and hands-on learning. I teach the basic and then we put it into practice.
