My Project

At the end of each year, I begin to think about what we need to start the new year with a boom. These materials will restock our classroom materials to prepare for our next group of children.

Please help our future students start the new year with a boom.

This year, I used the writing journals to show progress in writing in the classroom. The children are now tracing and copying lines. I have children who are tracing their names. We need more potato heads to encourage the children to use the small muscles in their hands. They wanted more this year, but we only had two potato heads. We were introduced into the rock crayons to help children to use a three-finger grasp to write. These materials have been an integral part of their fine motor growth.

The hot glue sticks are essential to post their work around the classroom. The children and families take pride when the work in prominently displayed.
