My Students

Albert Einstein wrote, "Play is the highest form of research." I believe this to be true especially in our little learners. Kindergarten is such a fun time to be engaged in many different stations/centers. Play-based learning centers are a very important part of stations. With COVID hitting pretty hard last year, our little learners need to learn to play and interact with each other. This helps build self-confidence, communication skills, problem-solving, taking turns with each other, and even listening skills. All of these things are skills that they need as they progress to the next grade level. I am hoping to build a classroom that offers more play-based learning. With your help, I can purchase the items needed to make this happen. My students absolutely love the stations that we currently have, but I would love to give them more options to choose from. Please help us play, learn, and most importantly, lay a foundation for our future.

My Project

Upon receiving these Play-based learning materials, my students will have so many more options. They will be so excited to learn new skills.

Through play, my students will learn so many lifelong skills that they can carry with them long after they leave Kindergarten.

These materials will help engage my students to develop the skills they need to conquer anything that might come at them. Play is trial and error, exploration, new discoveries, and most of all fun. These items will be used daily at our stations and will also be used as a free choice on days when we are inside due to weather. TPT (Teachers Pay Teachers) is a commonly used website by teachers. This website provides a lot of curriculum that we use daily. They have recently started putting on a lot of play-based learning materials that we can use. I also have included some items from Lakeshore which is an educational store that would provide me with items for my students to use with the curriculum. With your help, my students can become experts in play and learning.
