This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are full of energy and love to conduct experiments and have many curiosities. They love to be challenged and are interested in learning new things regarding living organisms. In my science class, we are in need of items to assist students in expanding their learning experience. Therefore we are in need of a microscope for a unit plan focusing on the subject of cells and the functions of cells. This will help increase their learning and provide them with motivation. I am also planning on implementing a unit on dissection. For this unit, the class needs two frog specimens, one pig specimen, as well as a cow eye for the lesson. The snacks listed will be utilized for our token economy as well as positive reinforcement with our students and their successes.
