Expanding Student Innovation Through Ozobot Ari Robots

My Project

We are seeking funding to purchase new Ozobot Ari robots to expand and enhance our current robotics and STEM learning opportunities for students. These robots will build upon our existing technology resources and provide students with engaging, hands-on experiences in coding, problem-solving, collaboration, and computational thinking.

Our students thrive when given opportunities to engage in meaningful, interactive learning experiences.

Robotics activities increase student engagement, creativity, and perseverance while supporting critical academic skills across multiple subject areas. Currently, our robotics resources are limited, making it difficult to provide consistent access for all students.

These robots would complement and enhance our current robotics program while allowing students to explore more advanced coding concepts and real-world applications of technology.

The Ozobot Ari robots will be incorporated into classroom lessons, STEM enrichment activities, small-group instruction, and collaborative problem-solving challenges. Students will use the robots to:

Learn foundational coding skills

Practice sequencing, logic, and debugging

Engage in engineering and design challenges

Participate in teamwork and communication activities

Explore creativity through project-based learning

The robots can also be integrated across content areas, including math, science, reading, and technology instruction.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
