My Project

As a reading teacher, I have several older students that I have been working with for several years. They have done an awesome job at improving their reading and mastering their phonics skills. They are now at a point where I would like to focus with them on skills such as vocabulary and comprehension to enhance their reading ablility.

The materials in this project were chosen to help improve students' vocabulary.

I recently took a very in depth class in the science of reading and learned effective ways to teach vocabulary. I would like these vocabulary journals so as students learn new words through reading we can focus on them and improve their over all knowledge. The vocabulary game will help keep them engaged in learning!
