My Project

We are a PreK-3 school filled with diverse learners, some of whom struggle with foundational reading skills and reading fluency. Teachers at SMK have dived into the recent Science of Reading Research that emphasizes the implementation of explicit phonics instruction along with using decodable texts to teach reading. Our teachers would like to expand their Decodable and Phonics Reader Library giving all students access to these books. These decodable book sets will help improve reading skills and will help teach students the code. Please also help motivate them with these kid friendly stories!
