Since introducing the sensory table, students are demonstrating improved regulation and are able to return to academic tasks more calmly and quickly. By proactively meeting sensory needs, we are seeing increased engagement and more successful participation throughout the school day.\r\n\r\nThe sensory table has also become a powerful learning tool. Students are strengthening fine motor skills through scooping, pouring, grasping, and manipulating materials. It supports early math and science concepts such as measurement, comparison, and cause and effect. Just as importantly, it creates authentic opportunities for communication. \r\n\r\nFor many of my learners, traditional desk-based tasks can feel overwhelming. The sensory table provides an accessible, hands-on learning space where students can explore, problem-solve, and connect with peers in a way that aligns with their individual learning profiles.\r\n\r\nBecause of this generous support, our classroom now has an essential tool for regulation, communication, academic growth, and social development. Thank you for helping create a learning environment where all students can thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1764629671870,"projectUrl":"project/tools-for-tactile-learning/9896688/","projectTitle":"Tools for Tactile Learning","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Belinskas","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9896325_orig.jpg?crop=240,240,x0,y20&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1738943458411","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9896325"},{"teacherId":5382223,"projectId":9665997,"letterContent":"Thank you so much for donating to my project \" Read, Relax, Regulate, and Learn: Tools for Self- Regulation\".
