These decodable books will give students the opportunity to practice the skills they learn during reading intervention groups. The decodable books will help us match the phonics skills that students need to an appropriate book. Students will be able to put their phonics skills to the test while they echo read, choral read, and partner read. Repeated readings help build fluency! Intervention teachers will also be able to send these books home with students for extra practice and to show off their reading skills to their families! As a school, these decodable books will also help us move towards the science of reading. Teachers throughout the school will be able to use these books with students during skills-based groups in the classroom.
