Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need access to engaging, high-quality books to help them grow as readers. This project will build our classroom library with a variety of fiction and nonfiction books that match different reading levels and interests.

By having more books available in the classroom, students will have daily opportunities to read, explore new topics, and build strong reading habits.

Many of my students do not have enough books at home, so this project will help ensure they have equal access to meaningful reading materials.

With these books, students will strengthen their comprehension, build confidence, and develop a lifelong love of reading.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
