This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This complete set of method books for jazz ensemble will be the first step to creating a new ensemble based class at our school and provide students with the opportunity to learn and practice resourcefulness and creativity through instrumental improvisation. Our school currently offers a beginning and intermediate level ensemble classes but I still see students yearning for more opportunities to learn and play.

This project will give our school what it needs to create a new ensemble class!

We will use the materials to teach the students how to play in a jazz style, swing eighth notes, learn about improvisation and practice classic jazz charts for performance. I hope that you will consider donating to this project!
