My students need curricular materials related to space science, as I am currently developing a space science unit and am in need of engaging materials and textual resources.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
My students are keen on learning and are busy taking advantage of the technical, practical, and empowering aspects of the curriculum I've developed for them. It would be fantastic if they were exposed to some innovative resources and materials, which I'm seeking to buy for them, in order to broaden their horizons and to deepen their understanding about physics, life science, earth science, space science, and sustainability science. Donations could also be used to broaden the science literacy activities I'm engaged in...
My Project
These materials are essential because we do not currently have a solidified space science curriculum at our school.
My students will be constructing solar system models in class and will benefit from the use of the motorized solar system model.
My students need to read critical and engaging texts on space science, so they can better apply an understanding of the concept of "systems" across different contexts. Finally, my students will certainly benefit from engaging in a long term investigation, based in space science. This opportunity is offered through Carolina Supply's investigation kit.
In conclusion, please support my project because it will really benefit my students, who don't always have access to the best resources!
