Thanks to your generosity, I have been able to create so many parts of my classroom that are colorful, and welcoming. My room feels brighter, more engaging, and more reflective of the students who learn in it everyday.\r\nOne of the biggest impacts has been on our vocabulary work. Our vocabulary binders are now in color, which has made a huge difference for my English Language Learners. Students can more easily identify words in both Spanish and English, and instead of relying on the Smart Board to see images, they can now look directly at their own papers and refer back to their personalized vocabulary word banks whenever they need. This has boosted their confidence and independence during lessons.\r\nI've also been able to create an emotions and feelings bulletin board for any student who comes into my room and just needs a moment to pause, reflect, or breathe — it's become my favorite bulletin board in the classroom. In addition, I created a map center where students can see flags from their home countries, which brings them so much joy and helps them feel seen and valued.
