This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Technology is ever-evolving. Technology use is essential for providing students with engaging and enjoyable learning experiences.

Because they are special to my heart, my students will gain so much from this donation.

Using video and graphics in our Flex Academy interactive learning classroom, ELLs and bilingual learners can enhance their language skills and learn mathematical concepts with the aid of an iPad.

Students benefit greatly from being exposed to creative internet projects since they typically include low-stakes, high-concept communication-based activities.

For instance, using Teams, Word, and other apps to practice writing online can be beneficial for certain kids. Remember that a variety of different digital creativity platforms, such as podcasting, digital design, and video production, can provide enjoyable opportunities for language practice. I would really like to use this desktop to help my students keep an interactive daily journal. I'm always able to find something online that works for the interests, ages, and language proficiency of my kids, but I would really love to have a computer so that I could satisfy their needs in a more creative way.

Even if they skip a day, students may continue learning interactively. Additionally, since the desktop will remain permanently set up in my classroom, if a substitute teacher is needed to cover me, the substitute will have access to the apps that the students will be using on a regular basis. My students are the most qualified applicants for this grant. We are grateful for the Nevada COVID relief funds, which gives teachers and kids the resources they need to see students succeed.

My classroom will benefit greatly from an iPad in a variety of original ways!
