This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember when you sat in class all day wishing there was a way to get out your energy? Exercise balls are a way to do just that! Research shows exercise balls increase student achievement and productivity. I have recently purchased some for my class and can vouch for the research!

My kid-os come from a very poor neighborhood, but they don't know it!

They always have a smile on their face and aim to please. I am the inclusion teacher. This means I have kids who are in special education as well as general education. I have a handful of kids with attention/behavior problems and this really helps them stayed focus. All of my main stream kids also LOVE the balls to get their "wiggles" out. Help us do better!

My Project

The exercise balls will be used for seats in a "normal" classroom setting. We currently rotate the balls that we have, but having a class set would make sure all the kids have them when they need them. The balls help the kids stay focused and get their energy out.

Please help us stay more focused and do better in school!

Plus, the we will get a little exercise at the same time! We all know where staying focused and doing well in school gets you! The kids and I say "thanks" for considering our idea!
