This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

These kits, buret pinchcock, and clamp will be used in my chemistry and AP chemistry classes to introduce students to chemical reactions on a microscale.Some basic labs in chemistry are titrations and mixing chemicals to obtain different reactions.

I remember how fun it was to compare the amount of vitamin C in different foods using titrations.

I also remember how it looked very cool when colorless solutions mixed and changed colors or made precipitates. I want my students to experience that also. I believe it will help them stay interested in chemistry and find it easier to locate chemical reactions around them in their lives.
