This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My passion to teach led me through college and I can finally see my hard work paying off. I start as a first year teacher in August! As exciting as that is, the only part that comes hard is financially starting my classroom.

I plan to use all these resources throughout my first year.

Having things likes pencils and stickers are just a small way that I will motivate my students to keep pushing. The carpet is a great way to have students work on the floor but still have their own space as we learn about personal space throughout out the school year! The printer and laminator are important parts of a classroom because they help me be prepared for my students and lets me print things in color. Students learn in different ways, so having a rolling cart would be a huge asset to my class. Flexible seating is important in any classroom. It can be hard for young students to always sit in a desk. Having options for students to move around the classroom is always rewarding!
