Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We are class k/1/2-105, we want to be the next best thing by excelling to excellence. Our class loves to learn and we need devices of our own to help us grow. Having our own devices will further our education at home.

It is sad that we cannot practice the same way in school because we do not have devices.

Students say that they would learn to practice strategies for math and reading at home. How can we be proficient in technology, when it stops in school? We cannot, so we are behind in some areas because of not having devices.

We want to stay abreast on today’s technology. Every morning we have to borrow devices. Sometimes we do not get any devices because they are loaned out to other students. Sometimes days go by before we are able to borrow devices. If we had our own we would be able to do more math and reading with the programs on the internet.

Class k/1/2-105 feels like we are missing out on a lot because we are not aloud to research as we should be able to. We don’t have resources as other students do. Most students have their own devices. We want that same privilege.

Please help us get our own devices which we will have everyday. We want to be able to flourish like other students do. We need all the knowledge that we can have. Please help us, thanking you in advance. Kids in need!
