My Students

We are a Title I school with a population of more than 600 kids. We have a large population of students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch. We also have a large ESL student population. Our students are special because they are learning to be leaders. They are engaged and motivated learners who seek out the next best adventure in the STEM environment . They are imaginative, creative, spontaneous, attentive, enthusiastic, and brilliant when given the resources they need to succeed.

My Project

My project will allow students to explore the STEM field, by engineering their own designs. This project will benefit the whole school, and each one of the students at the school will have the opportunity to build with their minds, and think like an engineer! The materials will be cataloged in the library that all teachers can check out and use. By building and having a hands on experience that will allow students to flourish in their learning, studies show that an engaged student is a successful and motivated student!
