Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Most of my students come from low income families and many of them are Spanish-speaking and not proficient in English or cannot speak English at all. However, the students in my district are eager to learn and willing to work hard to better their reading and all other subjects. They just need a little extra help so I need some extra resources.

The students in my district need extra support in reading and language arts because this language is a challenge and most cannot rely on parental knowledge.

My Project

My students love to work in groups and work all over the classroom and sometimes even outside! These clipboards will help my students by allowing them to move freely with assignments which helps to keep engagement high. The highlighters are a fun way for students to show their evidence when finding answers to reading comprehension questions. They love using multi-colors to prove their answers. The file folders and pocket charts will help to keep their work organized and in the right place. Students will be less likely to lose important and often unfinished assignments with this awesome colorful filing system.
