Thanks to your kindness, my students have greatly benefited from the resources you provided. The impact has been truly remarkable, creating a more enriching and supportive learning environment.\r\n\r\nThe books you funded have opened up a world of possibilities for my students. They are now immersed in diverse stories, exploring different cultures and perspectives they might not otherwise encounter. These books have not only expanded their vocabularies and honed their literacy skills but have also ignited a genuine love for reading. I've witnessed students eagerly discussing the characters and plots, engaging in thoughtful conversations and expressing their own creative ideas. The books have become a catalyst for independent learning and critical thinking, empowering my students to explore the world around them.\r\n\r\nThe snacks provided have also made a significant difference. I've noticed a marked improvement in my students' focus and concentration, especially during challenging lessons. For some students who may not have access to regular, nutritious meals at home, these snacks provide much-needed energy, bridging the gap and ensuring they are ready to learn. Knowing that their basic needs are met allows them to fully engage in classroom activities without the distraction of hunger.\r\n\r\nThe tissues, bandages, and wipes have been invaluable in maintaining a clean and healthy classroom environment. These seemingly small items contribute to a sense of well-being and allow students to focus on learning rather than discomfort. Having these supplies readily available has also helped promote good hygiene practices among my students.\r\n\r\nFinally, the laminating pouches have been a game-changer for preserving and enhancing our learning materials. By laminating important documents, worksheets, and visuals, I've created durable resources that can be used year after year. This not only saves valuable classroom funds but also ensures that these materials remain in excellent condition for repeated use, maximizing their educational impact. The laminated visuals have also made lessons more engaging and accessible, especially for visual learners.\r\n\r\nYour contributions have collectively created a more positive and supportive learning environment where my students can truly thrive. They are more engaged, more focused, and more excited about learning. I am deeply grateful for your investment in their future. Thank you for making a lasting difference in the lives of my students.","fullyFundedDate":1730733528088,"projectUrl":"project/reading-adventures/8626837/","projectTitle":"Reading Adventures!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Burley","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-4_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9648247"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_3444","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":414,"numTeachers":46,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":20,"percentWhite":17,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":58,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","gradesServed":"K - 2","studentTeacherRatio":"9.0:1","demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"TOWN","ncesMetroType":"RURAL_REMOTE"},"inStateSupporters":68.5,"schoolId":3444,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Union Elementary School on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Union Elementary School","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/north-carolina/sampson-county-school-district/union-elementary-school/3444"}
