My Students
"Can I be president?" "How do you become president?" These are some of the questions that come up after reading an article about the presidential elections.
I work with some of the brightest and most talented second graders.
They love to be challenged and are really great at articulating their thinking.
I teach a diverse population of students from around the world. They come to me ready and eager to learn new and exciting things. It is inspiring to be their teacher.
My Project
The materials and supplies that I am requesting for my students are necessary to support student organization and learning. The heavy book bins will go in our classroom library to hold all of the wonderful literature that we have in our class. The store-it-al rotating caddies will be an excellent tool for keeping student supplies organized and within reach. The turn-in-your-work organizer is going to make submitting completed work super easy for all of my students.
One key skill that is often needed to learn is organization.
Teaching students how to organize their work and their thinking is an important part of teaching. Organization is the one key proficiency that all students need in order to do their very best learning.
