My Project

Students will use the materials to aid in learning to knit and/or crochet as an extracurricular activity.

The drive to be successful in school (both from themselves and from family) results in many students suffering from anxiety.

Involvement in sports or other hobbies has proven to be an effective avenue for students to alleviate those feelings.

In my personal life, yarn crafts have played a huge role in helping me unwind from a stressful day and I want to share my love of yarn with my students while helping them develop skills to better enable them to cope with everyday life while also creating a product they can wear or use around their home or give as a gift.
