Student centered learning through exploration and curiosity are hallmarks of my teaching style. I have carefully selected materials to make my classroom engaging and educational, but also teen friendly. And what growing mind doesn't need a snack or two? I enjoy inspiring students to learn beyond the book. State curriculum and standards rarely leave room for self-discovery, but when given the right tools and encouragement, many students will follow their curiosity down the path to self-learning; enriching not just their brains, but changing how they see and interact with the world around them - making them life long learners and scientists.
