This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We have many students coming from warmer climates and they are not prepared for winter in New York. In our efforts to help students come to school ready to learn, we do our best to assist with basic needs. Through coat drives and fundraising, our school has acquired many coats and warm clothing.

Coat racks would allow us to display and organize clothing so students can select what they like with dignity.

With these racks, we would be able to transform piles of donations, to a small shopping center for our students..
