Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are curious and enthusiastic learners who come to school each day eager and ready to grow. The majority come from low-income households, and unfortunately, some face challenges outside the classroom that can affect their ability to focus during the school day. In our classroom, we strive to create a safe, clean, and supportive space where every child feels a sense of belonging and their basic needs are cared for. My goal is to provide an environment that nurtures not only academic success, but also supports each student’s overall well-being.

With your support, this project will provide essential items, such as snacks, facial tissues, disinfecting wipes, and Band-Aids to help meet my students' everyday needs.

These resources will allow my students to stay focused on learning, rather than being distracted by hunger, discomfort, or illness. They will also help maintain a clean and healthy classroom (especially during cold and flu season), ensuring that students can be present, engaged, and ready to learn each day.
