Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I plan to use the the bins to make recycling bins in the classroom. The many books will allow my current and upcoming classes to have an updated classroom library

I want my class to practice caring for the Earth everyday.

With these Earth Day books and supplies the class will have greater respect for our earth.

My students are learning new reading strategies and procedures daily, I feel it is important to acknowledge and celebrate their growth. My students will learn many new things throughout the year. I want to provide my students with the tools needed to succeed this and every year.

Ms. Thompson will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 21.
