My Project

Our Exceptional Children’s classroom would greatly benefit from the SMART Board RX Series because it provides an interactive, accessible way to meet the diverse learning needs of our students. Many students with disabilities benefit from visual supports, hands-on learning, repetition, modeling, and multiple ways to engage with instructional content. The SMART Board would allow us to create more interactive lessons that directly align with the curriculum we use, provide immediate feedback, display visual schedules and supports, and differentiate instruction based on individual student needs and IEP goals. Its touchscreen capabilities would also give students opportunities to actively participate in lessons rather than simply observe, supporting communication, independence, fine-motor development, and engagement. This technology would help us create a more inclusive and accessible learning environment where every student has meaningful opportunities to participate and succeed.
