Every Great Classroom Starts With a Rug

Help me give my students a classroom rug for lessons and read-alouds, plus hands-on tools, whiteboards, and organized storage that encourage engagement, confidence, and daily academic success.

My Project

My second graders are curious, kind, and eager to learn. I want to create a classroom where every child feels welcomed, engaged, and excited to participate. The classroom rug will become the heart of our room, where we'll gather for morning meetings, read-alouds, mini lessons, and class discussions.

Individual whiteboards will give every student the opportunity to practice skills and participate in lessons with confidence.

Magnetic handwriting paper will help me model writing and phonics lessons so all students can easily follow along. Laminating pouches will allow me to create durable learning materials that can be used throughout the year, and seat sacks will help students stay organized and keep our classroom clutter-free.

These resources will help create a positive, interactive learning environment where every student has the tools they need to succeed. Your generosity will make a lasting impact on my students and help them build confidence, independence, and a love of learning from the very first day.
