My Project

I was surprised recently to learn my third graders did not know much about Earth Day and why it is important. This prompted me to teach them the necessity of taking care of the Earth.

I am requesting items to help my students learn more about the planet they call home.

I want to teach my students about climate change and recycling. Both of these topics are also a part of our science standards.

I think the hands on approach is an excellent way for students to learn. In addition, I am requesting several books that my third graders can read and learn more about taking care of the planet.
