This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every year my students enjoy lessons about taking care of our environment. They have the greatest ideas share with our class what can be done to take care of our Earth.

I want my students to learn that Earth Day is every day!

That they can do their part on a daily basis to keep our Earth beautiful and clean. This year, I want to give my kiddos hands-on activities and give them a fun way to grow a plant and plant their own seeds. This lesson will teach the importance of plants and trees for our planet. They will also receive their own reusable straw and learn how using plastic straws are a danger to sea animals and to the environment.
