My Project

Every day, I have the privilege of teaching incredible students with disabilities who work harder than most people will ever realize. While many of the simplest tasks can be challenging, they come to school each day ready to try, learn, and celebrate even the smallest victories.

My students don’t always learn through traditional methods.

They thrive when they can touch, explore, move, and experience learning in ways that meet their unique needs. Hands-on learning materials help transform frustration into confidence and make learning both meaningful and exciting.

For some of my students, the sounds of a busy classroom can be overwhelming. Noise-reducing headphones provide a sense of calm, allowing them to focus, feel safe, and fully participate in their learning. Sensory seating gives students the movement their bodies need to stay regulated, engaged, and ready to learn without becoming overwhelmed.

These aren’t simply classroom supplies—they are tools that help my students communicate, concentrate, build confidence, and experience success. Every smile after mastering a new skill, every moment of independence, and every breakthrough is a reminder that the right supports can change a child’s future.
