My Project

In my Title I third-grade classroom, my students arrive each day full of curiosity, resilience, and a deep desire to learn—despite the many challenges they face outside of school. What they need most is a classroom that feels like a second home: a space where they feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow.

Every item in this project plays a role in creating that environment.

A cozy rug becomes a gathering space where stories are shared, lessons come to life, and friendships are formed. Crayons spark creativity, helping students express how they see the world. Comfortable chairs support focus and calm, allowing students to fully engage with their learning.

One of the most meaningful additions will be flexible seating. These choices—like wobble stools, cushions, and soft chairs—give students control over their learning space. For children who need movement or comfort to concentrate, this flexibility is empowering. It helps reduce anxiety, increase motivation, and makes our classroom feel like a place that truly belongs to them.

Organizational tools like bins and caddies may seem small, but they make a big difference. They help establish structure, encourage responsibility, and keep learning materials easily accessible—especially important for students who thrive on routine and order.

My goal is to create a warm, welcoming classroom where every child feels seen and supported. With your help, I can give my students the tools and environment they need to grow academically, emotionally, and socially.

What makes my students special is their joy, their strength, and their incredible potential. With the right resources, they can shine even brighter.
