Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students and I are constantly integrating art into our curriculum. We add detail to every graphic novel by using different mediums to help them be express precisely what their stories are trying to convey. Lately, they have been experimenting with adding watercolors and acrylics to their work in order to add more detail and description to their illustrations. These paintbrushes will help them do just that.
My students need brushes that will allow them to express themselves in different ways.
My goal with this project is to give my students the opportunity to use new tools to add to their work. My students are extremely creative and currently use toothpicks, swabs and cotton balls to add details. Help me provide them with additional resources that can help them become even better artists.
