Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

With a classroom full of diverse learners, I strive to give my students a place to feel themselves. I teach functional skills to students with moderate to severe disabilities in Kindergarten to 2nd grade. With flexible seating, alternative materials which require a lot of laminating, and sensory fidgets, my students can feel regulated and calm.

Calm and comfort leads to learning.

I have both verbal and non verbal students, students with physical and intellectual disabilities but all can learn! My goal is to find the right tools for each and every individual that will lead to successful growth in all areas.
