My Project

I teach an Exceptional Children self‑contained middle school class, and what I love most about my students is their resilience, curiosity, and the joy they bring into our classroom every day. Each of them learns in a unique way, and they thrive when they have tools that match their individual strengths, communication needs, and sensory profiles.

The resources in this project will directly support their ability to access instruction and stay regulated throughout the day.

Adaptive learning materials—such as visual supports, hands‑on manipulatives, and modified curriculum—help my students understand concepts at their level and build confidence as independent learners. Sensory and behavior‑support tools, like fidgets, flexible seating, and calming materials, give them safe ways to manage emotions, reduce frustration, and stay engaged in lessons.

These items aren’t just supplies; they are essential tools that help my students feel successful, safe, and proud of their progress. With your support, I can create a classroom environment where every learner has what they need to grow academically, socially, and emotionally.
