Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I work in a low income area. I was blessed through donors like you when I received so many supplies already, but I need stronger paper to use it on and some other great things to help use it all. I am excited to implement ideas and enjoy the arts with the entire school. I have been teaching the elements of art and the children have been excited to come to class and create. There are plenty of art projects that explore the world of Arts and open the minds of all of the children in my school.
The children have been using up the glue sticks and construction paper each day.
As I listen to the students create and design, they don't realize they are learning and making memories. I need just a few more things to be able to successfully watch the students. I am asking for thicker paper and tons of glue sticks. Also, also paper towels to help clean up after the students. My profile picture is an example of the creations we make.
My Project
There are many projects and the 402 students I see each week need basic white paper for and glue. Essential supplies come in small projects. I want to make sure that my students get this paper and during these times, I don't want to ask for too much. The play dough is for the small hands I see. I want to make sure when we return to the classroom, I have supplies for them. I truly appreciate all donations and hope this is all past us soon, so we can get back in the classroom.
