This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My beginner reader students need a supply refresh to take us to the end of the school year! We need whiteboard markers for writing practice in our phonics lessons and printer ink for creating vocabulary booklets. My students are English language learners. We use whiteboards every day to practice encoding and decoding new English words. My students also rely heavily on vocabulary instruction to access the texts we are reading in class. I use a lot of printer ink to create vocabulary booklets with color pictures and translated words.
