My Students

My students are thoughtful, kind, and inquisitive. Each day they enter our classroom with a passion for learning and the skills to develop a productive classroom community. My students are extremely dedicated and brave coming to school in the toughest of conditions regardless of what their at-home life is like. My many of my students school is where they feel the most accepted and valued as they are surrounded by peers who care deeply about each others success.

I pride myself on putting in place high expectations for all of my students so that we may work to close the achievement gap for my students of color, multilingual students, and those students with exceptional needs.

I am blessed to be the teacher of such wonderful students.

My Project

Many of my students need different ways to learn math concepts. These resources will help me make engaging games and activities for them so that learning can be active and fun.

Students thrive on the ability to use their hands and bodies to learn.

These different resources will provide my students with those chances. In my classroom, I want learning to be seen as a game that can be taken through a person’s life. Learning should be interactive and have practical skills that transfer well to the world post graduation.
