This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I have a group of 38 amazing third graders! To foster their creativity, engagement, and active participation in the learning process, I am requesting scissors, colored pencils and whiteboard erasers to enhance the Math and Spanish Literacy instruction.

These supplies promote hands-on learning, multisensory engagement, and collaborative exploration, enabling students to develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts and the Spanish language.

By providing students with scissors, they are empowered to engage in various hands-on activities. Colored pencils can be used to create visual representations such as graphs and charts, enabling students to visualize and interpret data more effectively. This visual approach strengthens their comprehension of mathematical concepts and fosters creativity in problem-solving. Whiteboard erasers provide the ability to erase and modify their work, encouraging a risk-free environment, fostering confidence and creativity during instruction.
