My Project

My 7th and 8th grade students come to class each day ready to learn, grow, and challenge themselves—but not all of them have access to the basic tools they need to be successful.

In our classroom, we rely heavily on technology and problem-solving skills.

Whether students are working through multi-step math problems, completing online assignments, or engaging in interactive lessons, having the right tools makes all the difference. Unfortunately, many of my students do not have consistent access to essential supplies like calculators, computer mice, and headphones.

With your support, I am hoping to provide a classroom set of calculators, mice, and headphones so that every student is prepared—every single day. Calculators will help students confidently tackle math concepts and build accuracy. Mice will make navigating digital assignments easier and more efficient, especially for students who struggle with trackpads. Headphones will allow students to focus during independent work, access audio-based learning, and minimize distractions in our busy classroom environment.

These tools will not only support academic success, but they will also help build independence and confidence. Students won’t have to worry about borrowing, sharing, or going without—they’ll be able to fully engage in their learning without barriers.
