This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Students are often needing to accomplish basic classroom tasks such as writing, math, or reading. More often than not, we are running out of pencils and paper. Some students do not have scissors, glue, or crayons to use at school. These tools are essential to the management of our day and allow my students to express their creativity. With new pencils and paper, we can get our work done efficiently and be ready for our day!

When students have the tools they need for their learning they can be more successful.

These tools will allow students to meet their learning needs by having a pencil and paper ready each day. Many of our students come from families who are not able to provide supplies for their children. This project helps us level the playing field by providing for their basic learning needs. Young students love learning responsibility and having creative experiences!
