Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We believe in empowering our students with the tools they need to succeed. Our future 5th graders are bright, curious, and eager to learn. To facilitate their learning journey, we are seeking your support in securing essential classroom supplies. Folders will help preserve and protect important classroom materials, ensuring they last longer and can be reused for multiple lessons. Anchor charts are visual learning tools that help students grasp complex concepts. With more chart paper, we can create engaging and informative charts tailored to our curriculum. Notebooks foster organization and serve as a valuable resource for reviewing and studying. Along with providing dedicated space for students to jot down their thoughts, ideas, and homework. Adding a splash of color to assignments and projects can make learning more enjoyable and stimulating for our students. The headphones will assist during reading time on EPIC, brain breaks, and testing units that require sound. The clipboards will be used to display student work through the year on our "WOW Work" wall.

By providing these supplies, we aim to create a conducive learning environment where students can explore, engage, and excel.

With access to diverse materials, students can express their creativity freely, whether it's through colorful projects or well-organized notes. Shared resources like anchor charts paper, can facilitate group activities and discussions, fostering teamwork and communication skills.

Our incoming 5th graders are a diverse group of individuals with unique talents, interests, and backgrounds. What unites them is their resilience, enthusiasm, and passion for learning. They constantly inspire us with their curiosity and determination to grow academically and personally. With your support, we can provide them with the resources they need to thrive and reach their full potential.
