I need 56 copies of this publication to ensure that each school in our district has the ability to cross-walk their school counseling program to MTSS.

My Project

I am working to help ensure that all 56 campus school counseling programs within our district have essential progamming publications to optimize their role and help better align their campus programming with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) National Model.

The second publication (of three) that I am working to obtain is "The School Counselor’s Guide to Multi-Tiered Systems of Support", which helps school counselors build their school counseling programming to coincide with the Tier I, II, and III framework of the MTSS model.

This allows for school counselors to better meet the individualized needs of all of their students on a holistic and more comprehensive level.

Given recent reductions to school counseling positions, helping school counselors understand how to reflect what they already do within their school building for their students from the framework of MTSS helps to build a greater capacity for understanding our roles as school counselors within our buildings and our district.
