This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

We are a small transitional center for students with behavioral issues. We make a great effort to create meaningful experiences for our students. As a school, we plan mentor/mentee days for students and staff to work together and build relationships. I am asking for this project to fund the materials needed to make epoxy coasters as a school.

As the art teacher, I have been trying to incorporate different materials into the room to give our students a diverse experience with art making.

Creating epoxy resin molds is a mindful art activity that will benefit the entire school. Our students thrive in the art room and I would love the opportunity to host a school wide art project.
