Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

Our school recently opened up a new green space playground. This includes bridges, gardens, plants, rocks, and trees. We have new outdoor classroom areas for classes to observe and interact with our environment. We also have an outdoor cart full of tools that will allow students to observe nature and our environment.

Our students need the folders and notebooks to become invested environmentalists as they study outside the classroom.

Each student will feel included in the class as they would all have their own notebook and folder. This allows us to spend less time looking for materials in our desks and being able to grab our "green" notebooks and folders.
