Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschool students love to explore the world around them and see how things work up close! I am requesting hands-on science materials like science viewers, bugs, and science magnifying glasses.

My students love to explore their environment as they collect materials in our playground.

They will use these materials to expand our science exploration in our discovery center. My students will be able to look at what a bug's body looks like up close! We can learn the life cycles of insects and teach my students the important role they play in our environment and use the magnifying glasses to collect real life materials and study the items (e.g., leaves, rocks).

I am so excited for my students to learn more about the butterfly/ant/ladybug life cycle. I am so proud of my pre-k scientists, and I am excited to continue our learning together with this project. Thanks for considering donating to our learning!
