Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I would love the opportunity to teach my first graders all about Climate and Environment. I have chosen many books about animals and their habitats which will teach my students about the different environments needed for each animal. There are also books that are specifically about climate and environment. The environmental stickers will be used as rewards and reminders about good choices for the environment.

My first graders will learn how they can positively affect the environment around them.

I have also requested a gel ant farm so students can see how they move, work, feed, and lay eggs in their specific environment. With access to all of these informative books my students will learn how the choices of humans affect animals and their environment.
