My Project

I want to give High School students an experience that was not afforded to me when I was in HighSchool. I have created a cart of materials that are useful and relevant in today's hair industry.

I have designed a cosmetology class where students can learn from a licensed cosmetologist such as myself about basic and advanced hair styling techniques, while also learning the theory about proper hair care, scalp conditions, anatomy, sanitation, and entrepreneurship skills.

All of the materials will be used for an hands on experience for students to learn and possible make a career early in life.

This was a program that was designed to meet the needs the students at BCS who aspire to learn skills in cosmetology.

Ms. Atiya Brooklyn School - Collab Studies Grades 9-12
